The central location, the very nice lady at reception.
At 3:30 p.m. the room was still not ready. In the breakfast room, tables were not cleared. You had to ask for plates, place mats and cutlery.

Brilliant very central location and lovely staff. Great food in the restaurants such as Le Cap Horn, located 5 min away. Units with a view. A safe, central heating and TV were nice.

Idyllic old but well furnished hotel with everything you need and live in, in the middle of the old town, and yet, if you know the way!, also easily accessible by car
No directions to the hotel parking lot, which is hard to find without calling the hotel. The navigation system led us into a forbidden street. During the booking we had checked the payment mode that we would book by credit card: At the hotel we were already charged, although we wanted to pay there in cash.

The staff was very friendly and the location is great directly in the pedestrian zone
The rooms are in great need of renovation. A lot of broken dirty joints in the walls in the carpets. Broken shutters. It is quite cold in the hotel, especially in the restaurant and breakfast room. Plates were not always clean. Everything a bit desolate. The hotel would be great in itself if it was kept in good condition.

Exceptionally comfortable bed, clean bathroom and central heating, a private safe, and multi-channel TV in the room. Amazing view over city.

An extremely well located and comfortable choice with an excellent restaurant, helpful friendly staff and good sized rooms with a certain rustic charm

Convenient parking once we found it.
The room door felt insecure, causing constant anxiety. The lock was flimsy on the vintage-style door, leaving me worried about my safety. The bathroom setup was less than ideal, with the toilet separated from the rest of the bathing facilities, inconvenient .

It's really central, has some charm of the past and has a parking facility.
This is a worn-out facility that need to be reconstructed.

If i want to be nice I could say the room had some faded charme. Do I want to be nice ? The matress of the bed was lumpy and sagged, no charme there. Staff very friendly. Extensive buffet breakfast good value for money. Location right in the center of town. Driving directions to the carpark on the website are wrong. To describe one room and an ante as a 'suite' is ambitious.
Change that matress, and presumably others too.

Friendly attentive staff and very quiet location although best central location.
Room needed a slightly bigger bed and tea/coffee making facilities.

Very central location. Good spacious rooms.
Squeaky floors which means everyone wakes up if anyone gets up during night/early morning.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of town. I appreciated the friendly staff who offered helpful suggestions. The breakfast was plentiful and satisfying, and I particularly enjoyed the fries served at the restaurant. The WiFi connection was inconsistent, and the room could use some updating as it felt quite dated. The shower took a while to get hot, but was powerful once adjusted.

The hotel is very well situated. You have shopping, restos, buses and trains just a few minutes away and walking distance to the lift up to Brevent.
You can hear your neighbours clearly especially above.
